The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in all and is the highest-rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger's soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It has an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, and comes with a belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade and an open-air window with a magnet, which is easy to close or open. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is a footwell adjuster button to help you position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, however we would have preferred a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a little frustrating since they need to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are simple to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that some of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a new baby coming soon. 3 wheel buggy can be used to fit most infant car seats from the major brands using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a good alternative for families who already have a car seat, but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may be better served with another convertible stroller for this scenario.
